Who Are We?
• SciNut was formed in 1999
• We are 5 friends spread across four states who met at a Star Trek convention in 1997
• SciNut has organized many events including movie nights, concerts and conventions
• Our first convention occurred in Melbourne in 2005
• We are not in it to make money, but to ensure that fandom survives
• Our monthly e-newsletter, detailing all fandom events in Australia plus movie & TV news, was founded in early 2003
